Great attendance at A Place in the Sun Live in London this month

In the largest overseas property exhibition since the pandemic hit, it was amazing to see over 5,000 visitors at London’s Olympia on 6-8th May. Seminars were jam-packed and the French Village was full of property hunters doing their research. People were very keen to learn about visa requirements, with many people still very motivated to make the move permanently.  It was also another successful show for Leggett recruitment, says Lorraine Deuré our Head of Recruitment :

“The team spoke with over 50 potential candidates over the three days and discussed in depth the possibility of working as independent sales agents in France. Obviously, some of the conversations leaned towards visa requirements but the majority of people we spoke to were generally well informed on what they needed to do in advance of their move, in the main, thanks to the professional guidance from some of our business colleagues also at the show.” We also saw a large number of EU citizens, who have no need for a residency permis/titre de séjour, and would be ready to join us virtually on arrival. All in all, a great show, and the Leggett team is looking forward to the next A Place in the Sun Live! at Birmingham’s NEC 23-25th September. Get it in the diary!
