The Perche National Park – one of France’s best kept secrets and nature at its best! I discovered the charming  Perche region by chance and 15 yrs on continue to be mesmerized with its stunning landscape, heritage architecture, rich culture and most of all its breathtaking nature.
Just 2 hrs from Paris by road and rail . You will be captivated by the scenery of the Parc Naturel du Perche – one of the most beautiful and protected national Parks in the world.

Home to many of the prettiest villages in France – wonderful soft yellow stone villages , Manoirs and Chateaux. And of-course the Percheron horse!
Dotted through the countryside are many listed towns and villages to discover  “petites cités de caractère” including La Perrière, Longny au Perche, Ste Gauburge “home of the eco museum”, ancient fortified town of Belleme, Condeau with its “relais de poste”, Maison-Maugis and its stunning Chateau, St Victor de Reno at the foot of the Reno Valdieu forest, Moutiers-au-Perche and its beautiful church on the hillside, to name but a few of the hidden treasures.
There are extraordinary trails through the countryside and forests, cycle tracks or horse rides. 18 hole Golf at Belleme and Golf du Perche . Due to its close proximity to Paris the Perche is also rich in culture with festivals, concerts, plays, museums, galleries and antique shops galore.
The Saturday markets of Mortagne au Perche and Nogent le Rotrou are magnificent and not only offer the most wonderful local produce but are a popular social event and great way to pass a morning, maybe take a coffee in one of the local cafes or tea rooms.
If you want a day of shopping and don’t want to go as far as Paris,  Le Mans and Chartres are both excellent – with no shortage of historic attractions – and both within an hours drive.
Accessibility is excellent within two hours you can reach Paris (by train or car), the ports at Le Havre and Caen, and Calais is just 4 hours by car.

The type of properties you will find in the Perche range from barns for renovation, traditional stone farmhouses, mills and manoirs to magnificent 16th Century Chateaus.
