French Properties

Blooming lovely? France’s gardeners open their gates to you…

Spring is here and with the French Open Gardens events fast approaching, we are delighted to be proud sponsors again. We’ve been sponsoring the event since 2016 and have seen this fabulous organisation expand every year. Borne out of a tradition that started in 1927 in England, the Open Gardens (Jardins Ouverts) events raise money for charity (such as the children’s charity: à chacun son Everest) by working with homeowners to open their beautiful gardens to be enjoyed by everyone. Are you a proud gardener? Do bear in mind the event is always on the lookout for new gardens to open – even just for one day! Fancy getting involved? Helpers are always needed on Open Days too, plus we welcome donations from keen cake-bakers to offer visitors. Find further information here.

In the meantime, to celebrate the arrival of spring, here are some properties throughout France with beautiful gardens.

This Perigordian 14-bedroom boutique hotel sits in over 4,000 sq m of beautiful gardens. Complete with a fish pond and a swimming pool – a delight for gardeners and those who enjoy roaming in one.
