The Food Trail, episode 5
Our trip across France and through a typical French menu is coming to an end… In this last episode, discover what we’re having for dessert.
Then time for that dessert – and this time it’s a prune tart. Agen prunes are amongst some of the most succulent you will ever taste – for they are grown in the sunblessed world of Gascony where ancient châteaux and fortified bastide towns abound.
After consuming this diverse and eclectic menu it’s definitely time for coffee followed perhaps by ‘une petite sieste’ and then, of course, there’ll be lunch again tomorrow!
