French festivals – here’s a couple we enjoyed last weekend – but there’s plenty more to come!

France hosts thousands of festivals throughout the year, from rural treats like the Dordogne Turkey Festival to stunning artistic displays like the Lemon Festival in Menton. We went to a couple of the first festivals of the year last weekend, and picked out some great properties nearby. So, enjoy some armchair travelling and start thinking about which fun French festivals you might like to come to.
The Fête du Cochon in Saint-Pons de Thomière, Hérault
An event all about pigs! During one full day, the town of Saint-Pons de Thomière is filled with country fun like tug-of-wars and fabulous food! You can see wild boar, shepherd dogs and generally have a piggie good time! We’ve picked out these great properties nearby for you to enjoy!

At the other end of the spectrum, we visited the International Game Festival in Cannes.
