Classic Car Lovers must-attend event: the Circuit des Remparts

This year, we were once again the main sponsor of the Circuit des Remparts of Angoulême, which took place on September 13, 14 and 15. Here are a few pictures of this must-attend event for all classic car lovers!

On Friday evening, our President, Trevor Leggett, had the great pleasure of being part of the jury of the elegance competition alongside the pilot Jean-Claude Andruet and Caroline Bugatti, granddaughter of the famous manufacturer Ettore Bugatti.

Here is Jean Ragnotti on the passenger seat of an old 1902 Renault.

It is on the roads of the Charente that our Leggett Immobilier team could be found all day Saturday, during the Rally. The start was given in Angoulême, then the participants set off on the roads to discover charming Charente villages.

A well-deserved lunch break was held at the Château de la Mercerie, a great opportunity to get a closer look at the superb cars on display in a stunning environment.

Did you spot our 2CV driving alongside the classic cars?

We were also present throughout the weekend on our stand located on the Place des Halles, in Angoulême. If you came by to say hello, you probably had the chance to get your hands on one of our limited-edition tote bags created for the occasion!

Throughout this weekend of festivities, we had the pleasure of being accompanied by Sandrine David, Deputy Director of the Maison de la Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Joe Breeze, Editor of Classic Car magazine. Among our guests of honour were also David Grainger and the team of the Canadian TV series Restoration Garage, whose first episode of their next season will focus on the Circuit des Remparts… and our president! To be continued…

If you haven’t had the opportunity to come and discover this event this year, don’t worry, we’ll be there next year too!
